A sprawling EP full of urban malaise, "After the Heat" chronicles living, loving and working as a 20-something in Melbourne as the world descends into chaos. Dense synth soundscapes and thrumming rhythms combine their simmering energies as mournful vocal melodies duck and weave between spidery piano lines.
